According to The Mirror, Premier League clubs Wolves and Crystal Palace have shown interest in acquiring West Ham United striker Danny Ings.
Despite the attention from other clubs, The Mirror suggests that West Ham is intent on keeping hold of Ings. However, the publication notes that interest in the forward is likely to persist until the closure of the January transfer window.
Ings, who joined West Ham from Aston Villa, has yet to fully impress at the London Stadium. Manager David Moyes has reportedly not provided the experienced striker with many opportunities this season, and when opportunities have arisen, Ings has not capitalized on them.
Although speculation surrounds his future at West Ham due to limited playing time, Ings remains a part of the team for now. However, the possibility of a move for the 31-year-old forward remains open as the January transfer window approaches its conclusion.
While Wolves and Crystal Palace are interested in signing Ings, his current situation at West Ham sees him mainly on the bench. A move to either of these clubs could offer Ings more regular playing time compared to his current situation.
Meanwhile, West Ham is reportedly looking to secure a loan deal for a new forward following some complications, as reported by Jacob Steinberg.
