Newcastle United and Liverpool have surged ahead of Arsenal in the pursuit of Sporting CP center-back Goncalo Inacio, according to recent transfer reports.

The highly-rated Portugal international, with five caps to his name, has garnered attention across Europe for his consistent performances since breaking into Sporting's senior team in October 2020.
